Whisk: 4.5"H / Whisk Holder: 3"H / Scoop: 7.25"L / Cloth: 7" x 7"
Material: Whisk and scoop - bamboo. Whisk Holder - ceramic
Care & Use:
Always soak your Chasen (whisk) in hot water for about 2 minutes before exposing to Matcha.
Always sift your Matcha. One heaping Chashaku (Matcha scoop) is about 1g of SIFTED Matcha.
Don't scrape the bottom of the bowl when whisking to prevent adverse wearing of the whisk tips.
When finish using, rinse under running hot water, shake well and dry standing straight up with the prongs on top.
Never expose your Chasen to milk, soap, etc. Only water and matcha should ever touch it.
Never dry your Chasen on the Chasen Kusenaoshi (Matcha Whisk Holder). Always completely dry the Chasen by itself before storing it on the holder.
Never let your Chashaku (tea scoop) get wet. Just wipe it with a dry cloth to remove leftover Matcha. Getting it wet will cause it to flatten out over time and render it useless for measuring.
